Nick Mertens brings size, guard skills, and local upside to NDSU
Nick Mertens is listed as a 6-foot, 202-pound guard for North Dakota State, but public roster data does not provide current game statistics or recent performance notes, so the clearest read is his physical profile and program fit rather than production.[4] At that size, he projects as a sturdy backcourt option who can handle contact and potentially defend multiple guard spots, which can matter if a roster needs toughness and versatility.[4] There is not enough reliable public evidence here to rank him or judge his current form beyond his roster status.[4]
