Thomas Cook brings Georgia Southern length and edge-setting upside off the edge
In the 2026 season, Thomas Cook is listed by Georgia Southern as a redshirt sophomore outside linebacker at 6-foot-5, 230 pounds, with the kind of frame that screams projection and disruption from the edge.[2] He stands out more for long-term upside than box-score volume right now: length, ranginess, and a developmental ceiling fit a defense looking for a high-motor edge player who can grow into bigger run-fit and pass-rush impact. The main question is consistency and production, not tools. If your team wants a physical, academically driven, developmental defender with real upside, Cook is a smart watch-list target.[2][1]
