Melvin King is a depth linebacker with limited publicly available production data
Georgia State’s Melvin King appears to be more of a depth or development piece than a headline stat-winner, with the clearest public record showing his 2015 season at Georgia State: 21 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, a pass breakup, and a season-high five tackles in one game. That profile suggests a player who can contribute in run support and assignment football, but there isn’t enough recent, reliable public data to make a strong current-performance judgment. If you’re evaluating fit, he looks like a toughness-and-role player rather than a flashy impact recruit.
