Quinichett brings swing-and-miss upside, but command has been the storyline in 2026
In the 2026 season, Agyei Quinichett has been a high-usage right-handed arm for North Carolina A&T, working as both a starter and late-inning option; the Aggies listed him at redshirt junior, 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, and he has logged 37.0 innings with 37 strikeouts, 2 saves, and a 9.97 ERA. He’s shown enough bite to close out games in short bursts, but the walk rate and traffic have made his outings volatile. The appeal is the arm strength and reliever versatility; the fit is better for a staff that can polish command than one needing instant stability.
