Laura Melquist offers Milwaukee a defensive-minded frontcourt presence
Laura Melquist is a Milwaukee Panthers forward who profiles as a sturdy, low-drama fit: size, effort, and physicality are the calling cards, with value coming more from toughness and board work than flashy scoring. Publicly available team pages confirm she’s in the Panthers’ women’s basketball program, but there isn’t enough reliable stat detail here to credibly cite a current season breakout or ranking. If a team wants a gritty frontcourt piece who can embrace dirty work, Melquist is the kind of player who can quietly make a lineup more resilient.
