Reliable Rim Protector and Veteran Big for Purdue Fort Wayne
In the 2016-17 season, Brent Calhoun was a steady, low-drama interior presence for Purdue Fort Wayne, starting all 33 games and anchoring the paint with 107 career blocks—a clear sign of his rim-protection value. He averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds that season, but his real differentiator was defense, toughness, and consistency rather than headline scoring. He also earned Summit League Academic Honor Roll recognition, which speaks to his reliability and professionalism. If you need a center who understands his role, protects the rim, and brings veteran steadiness, Calhoun fits the bill.
