William Byrd brings size, scoring punch, and disruptive defense for UAPB
William Byrd is a 6-foot-7 senior forward who gives UAPB a versatile frontcourt presence, with documented production as a scorer, rebounder, and steal creator, including a team-leading 13 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in one Golden Lions season. His value goes beyond box scores: he profiles as a long, active wing-forward who can defend multiple spots, crash the glass, and create extra possessions with his hands. For a team needing toughness, length, and two-way energy, he looks like a strong fit.
