Explosive scorer with bench-to-starter upside and a playoff edge
Mathurin is a high-motor wing who can create instant offense, attack the rim, and get to the free-throw line, with the confidence and aggressiveness that make him dangerous in big moments. In the 2024-25 season, he averaged 16.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 72 games, and his 27-point Finals performance showed he can swing games when the lights are brightest. He fits best with teams needing shot creation, pace, and toughness—but his value rises most if a staff can harness his shot selection and keep him consistently engaged.
