Record-setting Lamar QB who paired volume with efficiency
Caleb Berry stood out for Lamar as a high-output quarterback who threw for 3,709 yards and 33 touchdowns in the 2014 season, while also adding 96 rushing attempts, showing dual-threat value and workload durability.[6] His differentiator was production: he finished with a strong passer rating and ranked among the nation’s better stat leaders in passing yards and touchdowns, with relatively controlled interceptions.[2][6] For a team, he profiles as a proven rhythm passer who can carry an offense, though his value is best understood in the context of his season-long command and experience rather than raw tools alone.[1][6]
