Drake’s steady scoring engine with real closing power
In the 2013-14 season, Richard Carter was Drake’s most complete offensive guard, finishing with 16.6 points per game, 3.8 assists per game, and 1.8 steals per game while earning honorable mention All-Missouri Valley Conference honors[2][9]. He was more than a box-score guy: he also won team MVP, led the Bulldogs in scoring, and repeatedly delivered high-usage, high-leverage performances, including a 38-point outburst that was the program’s most by a Bulldog since 1997[2][5]. If a team needs a tough, experienced guard who can create, defend, and take over moments, Carter absolutely pops.
