Mickey Dennis brings senior steadiness and low-usage guard grit to JMU
In the 2025-26 season, Mickey Dennis has been a steady rotational guard for James Madison, appearing in 14 games with 8 starts and averaging 5.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 21.7 minutes per game. His shot-making has been inconsistent, but his value is in physicality, toughness, and doing the dirty work on the glass for a 6-3 guard. If you need a battle-tested, low-drama senior who can defend, rebound, and keep possessions alive, he fits the bill; if you want a primary creator, he’s not that guy.
