Jhery Matos brings seasoned backcourt steadiness to Charlotte
Matos is a veteran guard whose value goes beyond box-score scoring: he adds composure, ball handling, and low-drama experience that can stabilize a rotation, especially for teams needing a steady connector in the backcourt. The key question for Charlotte is whether his current production and athleticism still match the pace and defensive demands of Division I play; if they do, he profiles as a dependable fit rather than a flashy one. His appeal is in maturity, decision-making, and being the kind of guard who helps a team stay organized when possessions get messy.
