Jacquece Alston brings steady backcourt production for South Carolina State
Jacquece Alston is a compact, multi-category guard whose value comes from doing a little of everything: in ESPN’s listed season stats, she averaged 8.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists while handling guard duties, which suggests a player who can initiate offense and contribute on the glass [4]. Earlier game reports show she has produced double-digit scoring in conference play and team-high scoring nights, so she has shown she can be a focal point when needed [1][2]. At 5-foot-6, she profiles as a quick, versatile backcourt piece rather than a pure scorer, making her a fit for teams that want pace, toughness and all-around guard play [5][7].
