veteran Rutgers center with leadership chops and old-school toughness
In the 2002-03 season, Kareem Wright gave Rutgers reliable interior minutes, averaging 5.5 points and 3.7 rebounds in 28 games while shooting 46.8% from the field, and he was recognized by the program for loyalty, leadership, and most improved play. His calling card is not flash; it’s physicality, experience, and steadiness in the paint, plus a reputation as a strong locker-room presence. If you want a rugged, team-first big who brings toughness and maturity, Wright fits the bill.
