Benjamin Sormonte brings size and a low-usage wing profile to South Alabama
Sormonte, a 6-foot-4 guard, profiles as a steady role player rather than a high-volume scorer: in the 2002 season, he averaged 4.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists over 11 games, with a career-high 14-point outing showing he can contribute when given space.[1] His value is more about guard size, rebounding help, and secondary playmaking than shot creation, but the available stat line also shows modest shooting efficiency, so he looks best as a fit for a team needing length, energy, and connectivity more than a primary offensive engine.[1]
