Brendan Chanley brings Ivy-size frame, legit two-way pedigree, and untapped upside to Brown’s pitching staff
Brendan Chanley is a 6-foot-5, 205-pound right-hander at Brown who arrives with a strong prep résumé: in the 2023 season at Ridgewood, he posted a 1.30 ERA with 56 strikeouts in 32.1 innings and was ranked No. 33 overall and No. 16 among New Jersey right-handed pitchers by Perfect Game. Brown’s roster lists him as a junior/senior-era arm, and the key takeaway is upside: he was a two-sport captain, a high-academic performer, and a big-bodied pitcher with starter traits and competitive credibility. If a team wants projectable velocity, athlete makeup, and room to grow, he’s worth the look.
