Lamar’s high-precision punter with academic accolades and field-position value
Kollin Kahler stands out as a reliable field-position weapon for Lamar, with a career profile built on consistency, leg strength, and directional punting value; ESPN lists him with 254 punts, a 40.8-yard average, and a long of 72 yards, while Lamar and the Southland Conference note he was the program’s all-time leader in yards per punt and earned Southland Football Student-Athlete of the Year recognition. His differentiators are not just distance but placement and composure under pressure, making him a strong fit for teams that value hidden-yardage impact and a disciplined, high-character specialist.[1][6][7]
