Erin Yankus brings veteran size, team-first grit, and academic polish
Erin Yankus was a 6'2" Portland State forward who, in the 2008-09 season, adapted from starter to bench contributor and still earned the team’s Player Award for her positive attitude and teammate-first approach. Her profile points to a reliable, hard-working interior player with enough versatility to stay valuable when her role changes, plus real off-court maturity: she carried a 3.8 GPA and earned Academic All-Big Sky honors. If you want a selfless, steady frontcourt presence who buys into coaching and chemistry, she fits the bill.
