Jahkwell Fernandez is a young, physical DB with upside for Franklin Pierce
In the 2026 season, Jahkwell Fernandez is listed on Franklin Pierce’s roster as a redshirt freshman defensive back at 6-foot-0 and 170 pounds, which points to a lean, rangy build with room to add more pop. He’s the kind of under-the-radar defensive back worth watching for developmental upside: early-career status, size for the position, and a profile that suggests he could grow into more responsibility as he matures. Publicly available game-impact statistics and scouting notes are limited, so his best selling point right now is projection rather than proven production.
