Maxwell Moss Shows Promise in First Hampton Season After JMU Transfer
Wide receiver Maxwell Moss is making an impact in his 2025 debut season with Hampton after transferring from James Madison. Through the season, Moss has recorded 31 receptions for 430 yards and 1 touchdown, averaging 13.9 yards per catch[7]. The Brooklyn Park, Maryland native brings experience from competing at the FCS level and demonstrates reliable hands as a pass-catcher. Moss represents a developmental prospect with upside—his 13.9 yards-per-reception average suggests he can create separation and make plays downfield, making him an intriguing fit for programs seeking depth at receiver with room to grow.
