Arkansas State DB with Elite Pass-Defense Legacy and All-Sun Belt Honors
Justin Clifton stands out as Arkansas State’s most reliable defensive back, finishing 5th all-time in passes defended and earning Second-Team All-Sun Belt Conference honors in his final season. His differentiators include unmatched intensity on the field, a nickel-back versatility that allowed him to start every game in 2018, and a personality marked by leadership—evident in his transition to the team’s radio broadcast crew. With 13 career pass break-ups and two interceptions, Clifton combines technical precision with relentless pursuit. No major injury history is recorded, and his consistency (63 tackles, 4.5 TFLs) reflects durability. For teams seeking a high-intensity, intelligent DB who thrives in coverage and supports team culture, Clifton is an ideal fit.
