4-Star Oklahoma DB with Top-20 CB Pedigree
Gary Simon arrives at Oklahoma as a high-end defensive back prospect, rated a 4-star and ranked among the nation’s top cornerbacks by 247Sports, which signals real upside in coverage ability and athletic ceiling. He fits a Sooners secondary looking for length, speed, and competitive temperament, and the main reason to care is his recruiting profile suggests immediate developmental value with long-term starter potential. Publicly available profile data is limited, so current on-field production, injury context, and depth-chart role should be verified before projecting his exact fit.
