Iowa State’s do-it-all guard with elite all-around chops
Alison Lacey built her Iowa State reputation as a high-IQ, multi-dimensional guard who could score, create, and rebound, becoming the only Cyclone—and one of just seven Big 12 players—to post 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, and 500 assists in a career. In the 2009-10 season, she averaged 15.8 points, 6.2 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and shot 87.9% from the free-throw line, showing clutch efficiency and point-guard command. Her differentiator was versatility: she wasn’t just a scorer, she was the engine.
