Efficient North Dakota State guard with proven point-guard instincts
Donald Carter III has been a low-usage, highly efficient guard for North Dakota State, with ESPN listing him at 1.5 points, 1.0 rebound, and 0.5 assists per game in limited action, while the Bison roster lists him as a 6'0" junior guard from Minneapolis.[2][7] His biggest differentiator is his floor-general profile: earlier NDSU notes describe him as a player who once averaged 12 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds per game, pointing to feel, balance, and all-around guard utility beyond raw scoring.[1] He is best viewed as a steady backcourt piece rather than a volume scorer, and his fit depends on valuing composure, passing, and efficiency over high-usage creation.[1][2]
