Anthony Holmes brings proven tackling production and a safety’s instincts to Akron
Anthony Holmes profiles as a dependable, physical defensive back whose calling card is finishing plays and staying around the ball; ESPN lists him with 117 career solo tackles and a forced fumble, while Akron’s roster history shows he has already contributed in a meaningful role. What makes him interesting is the blend of experience and downhill aggression: he looks like a player who can support the run, tackle reliably in space, and fit a defense that values assignment soundness over flash. If your team wants a steady, high-effort safety with proven production, Holmes is the kind of fit worth paying attention to.
