Marshall’s old-school back with a fresh question mark
Michael West is a former Marshall running back who flashed in the 2003 season with 3 carries for 21 yards, but there’s no reliable current evidence tying him to Marshall’s 2026 roster or recent production. If you mean a current Herd back, Marshall’s 2025 run game was driven by Antwan Roberts and Michael Allen, with Roberts leading the team at 512 yards and 4 TDs and Allen adding 385 yards and 4 TDs, so the fit question today is really about whether a healthy, explosive back can separate in a crowded room.
