Productive, twitchy TE whose career was derailed by injury
In the 2022 season, Keon Zipperer flashed as Florida’s most productive tight end with 13 catches for 177 yards and a touchdown, showing route-running polish and receiver-like movement for a 6-foot-1.25, 242-pound target. He was regarded as a four-star recruit and praised for his ability to separate and create mismatches, but a serious ACL injury in spring 2023 cost him the next two seasons and ultimately led to medical retirement.
