Colin Troup brings veteran DB toughness to Colgate
Colin Troup is a seasoned Colgate defensive back whose value comes from experience, reliability, and versatility rather than flashy box-score noise. In his Colgate career, he logged 13 tackles and a fumble recovery through the end of 2020-21, then added three solo tackles in 2021, showing he can contribute when called upon[1][13]. At 6-1 and about 200 pounds, he has the frame for physical coverage and run support, and his multi-year presence suggests a steady, team-first defender who can fit a program that wants discipline and depth in the secondary[1][6].
