Ryan Halamicek brings starter-to-closer versatility and a history of turning in big innings
Halamicek is a right-handed arm who has shown real pitchability and role flexibility, moving from Friday starter to closer in 2025 while logging 55 strikeouts over 73 innings and earning a save-plus-long-relief profile that can help a staff in multiple ways[1]. He also has a track record of durability and competitiveness, highlighted by a complete game, multiple high-strikeout outings, and a 0.96 ERA in his high-school senior season, which points to a pitcher who can attack lineups and handle leverage[1][3].
