Matt Tsiaras brings catching pedigree and a compact, right-handed bat to Lehigh
Tsiaras is a senior catcher for Lehigh in the 2026 season who has flashed efficient production in limited action, and his best trait is the combination of receiver’s toughness, baseball IQ, and steady background from Malvern Prep, where he was a three-time Inter-Academic League champion and two-time Perfect Game Preseason All-American. In the 2025 season, he hit .222 with a .364 OBP and .697 OPS in seven games, showing he can handle the bat in small samples. He’s the kind of glue guy who can help a staff and bring reliable, low-drama energy to a roster.
