Brandon Whitney is Montana’s steady two-way engine with veteran poise and clutch value
In the 2024-25 season, Brandon Whitney was a second-team All-Big Sky guard and Big Sky Tournament MVP for Montana, starting all 35 games while averaging 9.3 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per game; the Grizzlies went 15-0 when he scored in double figures. He stands out less as a pure volume scorer and more as a high-IQ lead guard who organizes the offense, defends, and rises in big moments. His durability, minutes load, and program-record-level career production make him a plug-and-play veteran for teams needing structure, toughness, and late-game calm.
