Shane Toub was a durable, high-IQ anchor at center for Dayton
Shane Toub’s Dayton profile is built on reliability, leadership, and line-call trust: he started 34 career games at center, was a 2016 team captain, and earned Dayton’s Stan Kurdziel Memorial Trophy as the team’s top lineman. In the 2016 season, he started all 11 games, giving the Flyers a steady interior presence; he also stacked academic honors, showing the kind of pro-style accountability coaches love. If you want a center who stabilizes protection, communicates well, and brings captain energy, Toub is exactly the kind of gritty fit that quietly upgrades an offense.
