veteran UND D-line piece with size, upside, and no current stat trail
Carter Wilson is a 6-foot-3, 230-pound defensive lineman from Ottawa who has been on North Dakota’s roster since at least the 2023 and 2025 team listings, but current public stat pages show no recent season production to anchor a hot-take verdict[1][2]. What stands out is the profile: a long, sturdy developmental DL build and a program-trust type presence rather than a headline-grabbing stat machine[1]. If a team wants disruptive traits, positional flexibility, and patience for growth, Wilson looks like a worthwhile fit; if it needs an immediate box-score producer, this is more “project with juice” than instant impact[1][2].
