Jeffery Scott Jr. gives Alabama State a physical, playmaking defensive back with ball skills
Jeffery Scott Jr. is a useful DB for Alabama State because his track record shows impact plays, not just tackles: in 2021 spring action he logged 10 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, and a late interception to seal a win over Jackson State.[9] His best differentiators are his knack for finishing plays, toughness in traffic, and ability to contribute in big moments, which makes him a good fit for teams needing a competitive, opportunistic defensive back rather than a pure coverage specialist.[9]
