Stone Kane brings downhill instincts and proven tackling to Northern Colorado’s secondary
Stone Kane is a physical safety with a history of filling the stat sheet; in 2016 at Northern Colorado, he logged 28 solo tackles and 35 assists, and later produced an interception return for 18 yards plus a 7-solo, 2-assist game vs. Portland State. That profile suggests a reliable run-support defender who plays with toughness and urgency. He’s the kind of safety coaches value for his tackling consistency and willingness to hit, making him a fit if you need a tone-setter in the back end rather than just a coverage-only defender.
