McNeil entered Rider as a freshman guard with a proven two-way résumé from Middle Township, where he finished with nearly 1,700 points, 500 assists, 300 steals and 500 rebounds while earning 2025 Press of Atlantic City Boys Basketball Player of the Year honors.[11] In his 2026 college season, his production has been limited offensively—1.3 points, 0.6 assists and 0.5 steals in 9.6 minutes per game—so his value is more about disruptive defense, hustle and guard depth than scoring punch.[1][2] If you want a compact, energetic backcourt piece who has shown playmaking, toughness and winning pedigree, he’s worth watching; if you need immediate shot creation, he’s still developing.[11][14]
