ODU's Speedy Suffolk Sleeper from CB Roots to RB Potential
Quijoun Gordon, a 5-10, 180-lb Suffolk, VA native from Nansemond River High, joined Old Dominion as a freshman cornerback in 2019 but brings versatile athleticism highlighted in Hudl highlights from high school and Butler CC stints—explosive speed and tackling tenacity that scream RB converter. No standout FBS stats yet, but his compact build and multi-positional grit make him a developmental gem for teams needing intense, undersized backs who hit like DBs; perfect fit for spread offenses valuing shiftiness over size, watch for breakout in 2025 post-media buzz.
