Jacob Keys brings veteran catching presence to SE Louisiana
Jacob Keys is listed on SE Louisiana’s 2027 baseball roster as a senior catcher, giving the Lions an experienced backstop with the kind of maturity teams like to lean on in the middle of a season[1]. With no widely surfaced stat line in the available results, the best read is that his value comes from the catcher’s non-glamorous but crucial stuff: handling a staff, controlling the running game, and steadying the game with a calm, veteran presence. If a team wants reliable defense, game management, and a tough clubhouse fit, Keys looks like the kind of glue guy coaches trust[1].
