Andrew Gantz brings proven clutch leg and veteran kicker value to NIU
Andrew Gantz is a seasoned Northern Illinois kicker whose standout value is consistency under pressure: in the 2018 season, he led NIU in scoring with 68 points, hit 29-of-29 PATs, and made 13-of-18 field goals, including a long of 49 yards. He also handled kickoffs effectively, showing he can help field position as well as finish drives. The biggest reason to care about him is the veteran calm and reliability he offered in a close-game role—exactly the kind of specialist who can quietly swing wins.
