Homegrown Temple walk-on making the most of his minutes
In the 2025-26 season, Temple guard Connor Gal has appeared in five games and converted 6-of-9 field goals, scoring his first collegiate points against La Salle and a career-high seven against Georgian Court. At 6-foot-4, the Malvern native brings size, local pride, and a walk-on mentality that usually screams toughness, team-first energy, and low-drama reliability. He’s not a volume-stat player, but he’s the kind of connector coaches like: steady, physical, and willing to do the dirty work. If a team wants grit, maturity, and a true locker-room glue piece, Gal fits the mold.
