Adam Baumann Brings Old-School Interior Value to Youngstown State
Adam Baumann is a classic back-to-the-basket center who gives Youngstown State steady paint production, rebounding, and reliable interior size. In the 2003-04 season, he averaged 12.2 points and 7.0 rebounds in 25.3 minutes per game, and in 2002-03 he posted 11.6 points and 7.7 rebounds while shooting 50.0% from the field[1]. The selling point is his consistency and toughness: he’s a low-maintenance, high-utility big who protects the lane enough to matter and was also recognized for academic excellence, which usually hints at coachability and discipline[3][5].
