Josie West brings old-school paint presence for Louisiana
Josie West’s Louisiana profile shows a 6-2 center whose value has been defense, rebounding, and interior toughness rather than flashy scoring. In her UL career, she flashed a career-high 20 points in one game and also posted a game-high 11 rebounds in another, showing she could impact both ends when engaged[1][12]. If you want a dependable post defender who can battle, protect the rim, and give you physical minutes, she fit that mold; the upside was always tied to her activity level and how consistently she imposed herself inside[1][15].
