Brandon Brinkley brings veteran-ball skills and proven big-play chops to Houston's secondary
In his Houston career, Brandon Brinkley stood out as a multi-impact defensive back who consistently made plays on the ball and in space, including an All-Conference USA second-team nod and a 2009 game with two interceptions, three pass breakups, and seven solo tackles. His calling card was instincts: he could read routes, close fast, and turn coverage into turnovers. Add a physical, special-teams-friendly frame and a reputation for showing up in key moments, and you get the kind of corner coaches trust when they want reliability with a little bite.
