AJ Crider brings linebacker size, two-way toughness, and special-teams value to Toledo
AJ Crider is a 6-1, 240-pound junior linebacker who has already shown he can contribute on defense and special teams, including 7 tackles across four games in 2023 and a 2022 season with 4 tackles and a tackle for loss in 12 appearances.[1] What makes him interesting is the physical profile and football background: he was an all-conference linebacker and running back in high school, pairing 57 tackles and 8 sacks with 1,400 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior.[1] If you want a sturdy, versatile, high-effort front-seven depth piece with proven toughness and developmental upside, he fits that mold.[1]
