BYU’s young walk-on tackle with real upside
Caden McKee is a 2026 BYU freshman offensive lineman at 6-foot-6, 275 pounds, and he’s getting attention as a developmental piece with long-term potential rather than a finished product. He was described in June 2026 as a walk-on and a little undersized for the position, but BYU staff noted he has “a ton of potential,” which is exactly the kind of line coaches use when they see frame, movement, and room to grow. If you want a high-upside OL who could become a serious contributor with development, McKee is worth a look.
