Greg Genross brings jumbo TE upside, but the on-field sample is still tiny
Genross is a 6-foot-6 redshirt senior tight end for West Virginia with obvious mismatch potential thanks to his long frame and huge catch radius, and he earned NJCAA Division I All-American First Team honors in 2023 before arriving in Morgantown. He redshirted at WVU in 2024 and had no game stats there, then logged limited action in 2025, so the appeal is more projection than production right now. If you want a tight end with size, blocking value, and late-bloom upside, he’s intriguing; if you need a proven volume receiver, the résumé is still light.
