Daniel Sorensen brings veteran versatility and knack-for-the-ball production
Sorensen is a physical, high-motor defensive back whose value has long come from versatility, special-teams utility, and timely playmaking rather than elite athletic traits; at BYU he set the school’s pass-breakup record and finished with 211 tackles and eight interceptions, and in the NFL he repeatedly filled in as a starter and produced impact games, including a 2020 championship run with Kansas City. His fit is strongest for a team that wants a tough, experienced DB who understands leverage, can handle multiple roles, and raises the floor with effort, communication, and situational instincts.[8][18][19]
