Rockeed McCarter brings size, red-zone value, and reliable third-down juice to JMU
Rockeed McCarter is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound senior wideout for James Madison who has been a returning starter and a trusted third-down target, with JMU highlighting his size and key role in the passing game. In the 2009 season, he earned Third-Team All-CAA honors and posted 29 catches for 597 yards and 3 touchdowns, showing a steady, chain-moving profile rather than just splash-play fireworks. The main appeal is his sturdy frame, dependable hands, and proven game-to-game usefulness — the kind of receiver coaches love when the money downs arrive.
