Morgan Strickland gives Longwood a reliable late-season power arm
Morgan Strickland is a senior right-handed pitcher for Longwood who can take over a game, as shown by her complete-game win over Norfolk State in 2026, when she struck out a career-high eight and allowed just three runs. Her biggest differentiators are toughness, stamina, and trustworthiness in pressure spots—she can finish what she starts and give the Lancers innings when they need stability. That makes her a strong fit for teams valuing a competitive, attack-minded arm with proven game management and the flexibility to contribute in the infield.
