URI's Clutch WR with Delaware State Potential
Darius Savedge, a dynamic wide receiver formerly at Rhode Island, showcased his big-play ability in the 2023 CAA season, hauling in a crucial 24-yard TD pass from QB Kasim Hill to fuel URI's halftime lead in a key win, while ranking among conference leaders with 47 receptions for 529 yards and 4 TDs per FCS playoff stats. His speed and reliability in high-stakes moments make him a differentiator for comeback drives; now eyeing Delaware State Hornets, he's a low-risk, high-reward fit for teams needing explosive YAC threat without injury red flags.
